Honeycrisp are the favorite apple of many people. And there is no better Honeycrisp than one picked when it is ripe from a local orchard! These apples are, as the name suggests, sweet and crisp and juicy. They are excellent for eating fresh and in salads. Because of how juicy they are, they don't make the best applesauce or apple pies, although some people do like them for those. Honeycrisp apples are our earliest variety, usually ready around the beginning of September.
