We are sold out of all apples that have ripened so far. Chieftains are the last variety to ripen, and they are not ready yet. The orchard will be closed Sunday, September 25 because there aren't any apples available at this time.
We experienced a late freeze this past spring, which - according to all the charts and data - should have killed our entire crop. It didn't kill the whole crop, but there are substantially less apples this fall.
Apples have been ready earlier than normal this year. We have now picked all of the Honeycrisp, Jonathan, and Haralson. There are a few Haralson seconds left, but the others are all sold out. We will have apples available for You Pick again when the Chieftain are ready, perhaps around the beginning of October.
We are open Sundays 10am-5pm and weekdays by appointment. There is no appointment needed on Sundays.
There is no admission fee to visit our orchardAs always, please follow us on Facebook for ongoing updates.
